Step 1: Open Trail Details
Access Trail Details:
From the Explore section or map view, tap on the trail you are interested in to view its details.
Trail Overview:
You will be directed to the Trail Details page.
Here, you’ll see a map with the trail route marked, the trail name, location, and a brief description.
Step 2: Exploring Trail Information
Trail Information:
Trail Difficulty Level
Trail Length and Estimated Duration
User Ratings and Number of Reviews
Scroll for More Information:
Swipe up or scroll down to see more details like terrain type, elevation profile, and trail conditions.
Step 3: Reviews and Ratings
Access Reviews:
Swipe to the Reviews section to see what other riders have to say about the trail.
Read through user feedback and ratings to get insights on the trail’s difficulty and conditions.
Write a Review:
To add your own review, tap the "Write a Review" button.
Popup Window: A window will appear where you can rate your experience and leave comments.
Enter your feedback and attach photos if desired, then tap "Save" to post your review.
Step 4: View Hazards and Reports
Hazards Section:
Check the Hazards section for any known obstacles or warnings on the trail, such as fallen trees, landslides, or rocky sections.
This section helps you prepare for potential challenges and plan your route accordingly.
View Reports:
The Reports section provides detailed condition reports submitted by other riders.
You can see updates on the trail’s status, recent weather effects, and more.
Step 5: Photos and Visuals
View Trail Photos:
In the Photos section, browse through images of the trail submitted by other riders.
This helps you get a visual sense of the terrain and scenery.
Add Your Own Photos:
If you've taken photos during your ride, you can add them to the trail’s gallery.
Tap the Add Photo icon and select images from your device to upload.
Step 6: Exploring Detailed Trail Information
Look at the trail’s elevation profile to understand the ups and downs of the route.
The terrain info provides insights into what to expect, such as rocky paths, forest trails, or sandy sections.
Step 7: Planning Your Ride
If you’re ready to ride, tap "Start Trail" to begin your journey.
The app will guide you through the route and track your progress.
Step 8: Finish a trail
If you’re ready to finish, tap "Finish Trail" to stop your journey.
The app will guide you through finalising steps.
Check Hazards: Always review the hazards and condition reports before starting a trail to ensure a safe ride.
Contribute to the Community: Share your own experiences by writing reviews, adding photos, and submitting condition reports.
Plan Ahead: Use the detailed information, such as terrain type and elevation, to prepare for the ride and bring the appropriate gear.
