Step 1: Record a New Trail
Access Trail Creation:
From the Explore screen, tap the "+" button to start creating a new trail.
Tap the "Start" button to begin recording your trail journey.
Step 2: Recording the Trail with GPS Connection
Recording in Progress:
As you ride, the app will track and display your route on the map in real-time.
You can see details like distance, time, and elevation gain.
Tap the "Pause" button if you need to stop temporarily. You can resume tracking by tapping "Resume."
View Details:
Swipe up to view detailed information about the trail, such as elevation changes and distance traveled.
To add a waypoint or a specific hazard, tap the "Add to Trail" button.
Step 3: Handling Lost GPS Connection
If you lose GPS signal, the app will display a notification and pause tracking until the signal is restored.
If the app cannot automatically resume tracking, it will prompt you to manually input or clarify the route information.
Step 4: Finishing the Trail
Once you’ve completed the trail, tap the "Stop" button to end the recording.
Add a finishing photo by tapping "Add Photo" to provide a visual reference for the trail’s endpoint.
Review the trail details, make necessary adjustments, and tap "Save" to finalize the trail creation.
Trail Editing
Step 1: Access Trail Editing
Go to the trail you want to edit from your profile or the Explore section.
Tap the "Edit" button to modify the trail.
Step 2: Update Trail Information
You can modify various trail details, such as:
Difficulty Level: Select or change the difficulty level of the trail.
Terrain Type: Update the terrain type (e.g., rocky, sandy, forest, etc.).
Description: Provide or update a brief description of the trail to give riders an idea of what to expect.
Add or Remove Photos:
Tap "Add Photo" to include more images in the trail gallery or remove existing photos by selecting them and tapping "Delete."
Save Changes:
Once you’ve made all the necessary changes, tap "Save" to update the trail information.
Trail Deletion
Access a Trail
Go to the trail you want to delete from your profile or the Explore section.
Delete Trail:
Tap the "Delete Trail" button.
A confirmation popup will appear asking if you are sure you want to delete the trail. This action is permanent.
Confirm Deletion:
Tap "Delete" to permanently remove the trail from the app, or "Cancel" to keep the trail.
Keep it Updated: Regularly update trail details and conditions to provide the best experience for other riders.
Add Visuals: Including photos and waypoints helps other riders better understand the trail.
Check GPS Signal: Ensure your GPS signal is strong when creating new trails to avoid losing connection.
