🚦 1. Ride a Section
When you ride a Section in the TourenUp, Touren automatically tracks your:
GPS route
Speed
Balance & tilt using your phone's accelerometer and gyroscope
Time to complete the segment
No extra gear needed — just your smartphone and the Touren app.
📊 2. Get Scored by Smart Metrics
After the ride, Touren analyzes your performance across four key skills:
Throttle Control
How steady and controlled your speed was
Balance Control
How smooth and stable you kept the bike
Time Performance
How quickly you completed the section
🧮 3. Earn a Grade & Improve
Each skill gets a score and letter grade (A+ to F) based on your ride data. You’ll also receive actionable feedback like:
"Improve throttle control by maintaining a steadier pace on climbs." "Refine your line to improve path accuracy on sharp turns."
It’s like a riding coach in your pocket — giving you progress insight on every attempt.
🧗 4. Compete on the Leaderboard
Your best ride gets posted on the Touren leaderboard — where you can see how you rank against others. The more you ride, the more you improve your score and your place!
🌍 5. Create Your Own Sections
Anyone can become a Section Creator by mapping a segment they love and defining it as a Touren Section. Whether it’s a steep climb, sand trap, or tight switchback, you set the challenge — others ride it.
